Born and raised in Chicago, Jonathan came to Los Angeles to study at USC's School of Cinematic Arts.  

 

He has spent the past decade working as a television producer on such series as Orange Is the New Black, Dirty John, and Ponies. In addition, he has directed two feature films.

 

Most recently, Jonathan has completed a master's degree at LMU in Writing and Producing for Television.

 

He has participated in Film Independent's Screenwriting Development Residency, Film Independent's Incubator Lab, and has been named a finalist for the Humanitas David & Lynn Angell Fellowship.
