Born and raised in Chicago, Jonathan came to Los Angeles to study at USC's School of Cinematic Arts.  

 

He has spent the past decade working as a television producer on such series as Orange Is the New Black, Weeds, Dirty John, and The Morning Show. In addition, he has directed two feature films.

 

Most recently, Jonathan has completed a master's degree at LMU in Writing and Producing for Television.

 

He has participated in Film Independent's Screenwriting Development Residency, Film Independent's Incubator Lab, and has been named a finalist for the Humanitas David & Lynn Angell Fellowship.
